Bladh & Boyer La Verne Glasses and Diamond Bar Glasses

For many years doctors have noticed that great athletes have great vision but the vision is above average in many ways. Most pros see better than 20/20 (sometimes with the help of glasses, contacts or LASIK). Also, they have amazing visual skills that aren’t measured in the typical eye exam.
Peripheral vision, depth perception, dynamic visual acuity, and reaction time are all important in providing that gifted athlete with a competitive edge. New exams have been developed to test these skills and training exercises are available to improve them. Bladh and Boyer has stayed on the cutting edge of these developments in training through new technologies.
We are involved in testing athletic visual skills with the NIKE sports vision tester. We have also developed a training program with our new MAXIMEYES system. MAXIMEYES will improve these skills for better on field performance. If you’re interested in joining the NIKE effort, call our Diamond Bar office and make an appointment today. This could be that extra competitive edge you’ve been looking for.

Here is a little more information on this:
NO MATTER HOW STRONG OR FAST YOU ARE, IF YOU AREN’T IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME, YOU AREN’T GOING TO MAKE THE PLAY.
Together it is a one stop experience in the future of performance training. Just as sprints can increase your speed and plyometrics can build explosive power and agility, there is training that can enhance your sensory skills. A Nike SPARQ Sensory Training evaluation identifies skills like depth perception, reaction time, and eye-hand coordination which can improve your game. Then, train with Nike Strobe in sport specific drills to improve sensory skills. Sensory training will give you the edge over your competitors to see clearer, think quicker, and move faster. What does this mean on the field? For a hockey goalie it means visually picking up the puck quicker and reacting faster to make the save. For a football receiver it means better concentration, more accurately judging the flight of the football, and then making more quality catches. And in soccer it means better skills at judging the distance and timing of the ball in order to get more steals, better first-touches or completing the perfect pass.
