LASIK:  Laser Eye Surgery

If you talk about eye care today your discussion is not complete unless you include conversation about LASIK.  Lazik is the scientific name for laser eye surgery (Laser In Situ Keratomileusis),  a revolutionary vision-correction procedure for the treatment of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Laser eye surgery is on almost everybody’s mind, and increasingly an option for almost anybody that needs glasses or contact lenses. As co- managing optometrist we provide pre and post operative care and are actively involved with the technology and its applications.
